Experienced Vice President Of Technology and Provost with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Educational Technology, Adult Education, Academic Advising, Grant Writing, and Higher Education Leadership. Unique strength is my ability to integrate technology and higher education. Primary Strengths: --Organization Building: I have created a college from scratch; two institutes; traditional degree programs; online degree programs; a mobile app; and a company to deploy the app. --High Technology Proficiency: Fluent and versed in most contemporary technologies, with a focus in EdTech; previous experience includes the development of a mobile app; director of two technology-based institutes; and clear understanding of the theories and values that drive technologies. --Expertise in Learning: 35 years working in both Higher Education and EdTech; served in roles at all levels of diverse learning organizations; have worked with multiple learning modalities. --Intellectual Ability: Current work is focusing on technologically supported curriculum development and deep learning and virtual reality in learning.

Joined Health Care Service Corporation, the nation’s largest customer owned health insurer offering Blue Cross Blue Shield plans in Illinois, Montana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas, in September of 2017 as DVP Information Security Architecture and Design. In this role, John was responsible for driving the future state Cyber Security Architecture with a focus on securely enabling HCSC’s use of the public cloud for sensitive workloads, overall modernization of HCSC’s Member facing and Enterprise Identity & Access Management products and enhancements to Cyber Defense capabilities. Promoted to Deputy CISO / Head of Information Security for Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) in Fall of 2021. John is responsible for delivering a fiscally responsible and pragmatic Information Security program that securely enables the HCSC enterprise, systems development entities, and strategic initiatives. He is an Information Services Security thought leader with over twenty-five years combined experience with Fortune 500 firms in life sciences, healthcare and consumer products industries. Actively participates on Executive Customer Advisory Boards and Healthcare Industry Executive Leadership forums. John has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Temple University and holds CISSP certification.

Dave Trader has been in CyberSecurity for over 20 years now.  Dave began his career as a United States Marine serving in both OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom) and OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom) where Dave specialized in encryption as a Signals Intelligence and Communications expert. Dave is certified in over 70 different areas of CyberSecurity; most notably CISSP, CISM, and as an Ethical Hacker. Dave has an MBA with a specialty in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice.  Dave is most recently a graduate of the FBI CISO Academy out of Quantico, VA. Dave also serves on the University of Detroit NSA Center of Excellence CyberSecurity Advisory Board and is a coach for the USAF Cyber Patriot Program.Prior to joining Presidio, Dave was a CISO for seven years at a technology company out of Detroit. Dave specializes in high-security environments, Incident Response, SOC Operations, and security architecture and has been a preferred cybersecurity consultant to Fortune 100 companies for securing their environments for many years.Today, Dave is the Field CISO for Presidio helping countless customers in every vertical with their cybersecurity concerns. Dave thoroughly enjoys the variety of advisory and consulting services.
