Dr. Saleem is board certified in Ophthalmology and Clinical Informatics and has gained much experience while demonstrating progressive responsibility and extensive history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Her areas of focus have been EMR implementation, optimization, inpatient and outpatient tele-medicine implementation and optimization, validation and implementation of artificial intelligence in clinical settings, and managing priorities in ambulatory and inpatient care settings. Working for a large health care system which has a strong IT and Informatics department has allowed ample opportunities to excel in fields of Quality (MIPS/MACRA), Data usage, telemedicine, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Management, shift towards value based care, IT governance and process improvement, Interoperability, and vendor management. She continues to practice ophthalmology, ophthalmic surgery, and ocular immunology. Her skills in collaboration have allowed her to successfully implement many programs across complicated healthcare environments.
